Aluminum Aging Oven
The process of aluminum aging is performed in an industrial oven. Aluminum aging ovens are used in the manufacturing of parts and components for a variety of industries. During the process heat is used to change the properties of an alloy, making it harder and more durable. For each alloy that goes through the aging process, there is a unique range of time-temperature combinations to which it will respond. The hardening of an alloy could naturally happen over time in a process referred to as "natural aging".
Heat treating speeds up the process to achieve the desired end-use properties and is also referred to as artificial aging. Aluminum aging ovens are commonly used in the automotive, aerospace, government, defense, and transportation industries to manufacture durable components for long-term use.
Blue M is a leading manufacturer of aluminum aging ovens in different sizes and configurations. We take into consideration all of the factors that come into play including rapid heating, tight temperature uniformity, and high precision/repeatability.
