Annealing Ovens

The annealing process is used to heat parts made out of plastic, glass, or metal to relieve internal stress on the material that can affect the strength and cause wear resistance and cracking. There are three main types of annealing processes that are performed in industrial ovens: full anneal, spheroidize anneal, and process annealing.

What is an Annealing Oven?

An annealing oven is a specific type of industrial oven that is used to heat parts made out of plastic, glass, or metal materials to relieve internal stress on and change the properties of the material. Annealing ovens improve the machinability and mechanical or electrical properties of the treated material. The annealing process varies depending on the material being treated and the desired outcome.

Blue M designs and manufactures industrial ovens for annealing in a variety of configurations to meet your process requirements. Contact us to learn more about our annealing oven solutions!
