Solvent Drying Oven
Solvent drying oven and chamber processes are considered hazardous when the workload being heated can combine with the atmosphere around it to produce an explosive mixture. Applications that include hazardous material processing are found in many industries including automotive, defense, aerospace, and medical device. Flash curing paint samples, drying solvents, curing paint, epoxies or adhesives, and solvent coating, are all processes that require the expelling of hazardous vapor to lower explosive limits.
Blue M solvent drying ovens are ideal for solvent laden processes like curing coatings on paint test strips or curing coatings on optics that are used to filter out specific wavelengths of light. Designed to follow NFPA 86 guidelines these ovens feature a high exhaust rate to dilute the volatile vapors.
